My name is Gifford, I am native-born to Arizona and my #1 goal is providing EVERYONE with a clean pool that they love and enjoy, at a price they can afford. Before I started working in the pool industry, the only experience I had was testing my parents patience levels daily about going swimming. I decided to clean pools after I was involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident as a way to rehabilitate and regain my mobility, the company provided truck and equipment was just an added bonus. My first pool job, was for a big corporate company name that ran coast-to-coast. I became a 'top tier' technician within my first week of training and gained an immense amount of pool knowledge and experience during my time. I was there for around two and a half years before I left and began working at a pool & fountain company. It was very fun, easy, and short lived. There was only roughly 1-2 hours of work per day. I had to very politely inform my very disappointed manager that I was unable to afford the cost of living with the amount of work I was being offered. He apologized for the lack of hours and said he understood and wished he had more work for me. After that I bounced around through two more independent pool companies for about another year and a half before finally landing at another big name company and becoming an Area Manager in two months time. During my time as manager, I became ill and my superior would not allow me personal time off to care for my health. I had been working roughly 9 months and hadn't taken a day off even while actively sick with the flu/covid. So I decided to resign and begin my own pool business. It was one of the best life decisions I have ever made! Through this journey I have met so many wonderful and amazing people. I love being able to fix a pool up for residents of the valley and hear about how the whole family went swimming. Truly a compliment! Service log: You will receive an email every week from "Gifford's Pools LLC" with all of the following information from that weeks service visit. (Excluding national holidays, exceptions can be made)
Brushing: Tiles/steps/walls of the pool fully brushed down to prevent the buildup of algae and calcium.
Photos: Pictures
Pool Service Includes:
Service log: You will receive an email every week from "Gifford's Pools LLC" with all of the following information from that weeks service visit. (Excluding national holidays, exceptions can be made)
Brushing: Tiles/steps/walls of the pool fully brushed down to prevent the buildup of algae and calcium.
Photos: Pictures of the debris baskets emptied to ensure pool is maintained and to prevent equipment failure - Pump, skimmer, leaf, and inline.
Water Quality Testing: Water parameters are tested using liquid reagents for the highest level of accuracy when measuring.
Chemicals: Chemicals required for water balance after testing as a critical part of maintaining the pool - This includes any specialty chemicals (phosphate remover, algaecide, etc.)
Backwashing: Sand/DE filters backwashed at least (1) times a month. DE filters are recharged with DE after backwashing for proper filtration.
Vacuum: System vacuum of the pool after a storm or as needed. Baskets also emptied and filter backwashed/recharged if applicable.

Salt Cell Cleaning: Salt Cell cleaned and inspected for any damages to maintain proper chlorine output
Repairs: Repairs to any leaking or damaged pool equipment, PVC, pool lighting, cleaning system, etc.
