Gifford's Pools Weekly Mainetance

Weekly Service Log

 You will receive an email every week from "Gifford's Pools LLC" with a 'live' photo of your clean pool, as well as, the skimmer, pump, and in-line baskets once they are emptied.


You will also receive all of the following information below from that weeks service visit. (Excluding national holidays, exceptions may be made)

Brushing The Pool

The step, walls, and tiles of the pools surface will be brushed each week to prevent the buildup of algae and calcium. 

Chemicals

 All chemicals required for water balance are included in monthly price. There is no additional cost for any specialty chemicals needed. (Phosphate remover, algaecide, etc.) 

Water Quality Testing

Water parameters are tested using liquid reagents for the highest level of accuracy when initially measuring  the pool. (After consistent weekly water readings, test strips may be used)

Backwashing and Recharging

Sand/DE filters are backwashed at least once, every (4) weeks. DE filters are recharged with DE after backwashing to prevent damage to filter grids and to maintain proper filtration

Vacuuming

Gifford's Pools will perform a system vacuum of the pool after a storm or as needed. Baskets also emptied and filter backwashed/recharged if applicable. NOTE: There must be at least (1) form of cleaning system in the pool prior to service.
