Not very common, but has the same cleaning procedure as the Quad Cartridge filters. Price is $150 for DE Quad Cartridge filters. Filter will be disassembled and cartridges sprayed cleaned. Promptly following reassembly, the filter will be recharged with the proper amount of diatomaceous earth, pressurized and tested for leaks.
Somewhat common, but usually is superseded by the Quad Cartridge filter due to difficulty in upkeep and reassembly after cleanings. Price is $150 for DE filters and cleanings are only required once per year. All (8) grids are full disassembled and sprayed clean. All grids inspected for breaks, rips or tears before reassembly. Promptly following reassembly, filter is recharged with the proper amount of diatomaceous earth, pressurized and tested for leaks.
Fairly common in HOA or residential neighborhoods for small bodies of water, such as a spa or play pool. Single Cartridge cleanings are FREE and included in Gifford's Pools monthly service. These cartridges are cleaned every 4-6 weeks depending on factors such as bather load or landscaping. The single cartridge is sprayed clean before reassembly. Filter is then pressurized and tested for leaks.
